Joi G. Kush

Joi G. Kush is a partner at Johnson Kush, P.C. Joi handles a variety of cases including complex custody disputes, high net worth marital estates, and post-decree issues. Joi believes that exceptional advocacy requires persistence, effective communication, and in-depth knowledge of the law. She also believes that a successful lawyer is one who can listen, provide individualized attention to each client and help the client find solutions to legal problems. Her achievements and intelligence are a direct reflection of her personality and the level of motivation and energy she possesses.

Joi graduated from the University of Denver in 2007 and from Albany Law School in 2010. During law school, Joi was a judicial intern for the Honorable Robert Littlefield, U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Court, a legal fellow at the Albany County District Attorney’s Office, Vehicular Crimes Unit and she served as a student editor for the Albany Government Law Review and the New York State Bar Association, Government, Law & Policy Journal. Joi has also lived and worked abroad in Beijing, China, Tokyo, Japan, Chiang Mai, Thailand, Hanoi, Vietnam and Dharamsala, India.
