Julie brings over 17 years of family law experience to the firm. Her heartfelt compassion for helping clients is only one of her many strengths. She will take whatever time is needed to listen to the concerns of each client and will always do her best to answer their questions during this difficult time in their life. When a client is in doubt or apprehensive about their case, she is there to offer the support and reassurance they might need while making the decision to obtain legal counsel.
Julie received her certification in Paralegal Studies from the Paralegal Institute of Arizona in 1991. Her training began in Colorado Springs as a legal assistant in family law in 1987. She was then employed by David Johnson from 1989 through 1995. In 2007, after 9 years as a sole proprietor of her own business, Julie sold her medical transcription company and was once again gainfully employed with David Johnson and has continued her career as family law paralegal to date.
Julie was recently sworn in as a CASA volunteer in March 2017 and enjoys other volunteering as well.
She enjoys family, photography, cooking, and most outdoor activities including big game hunting, fishing, camping and hiking.
